The pig openner and its transition/ El openner del cerdito y transición

Im making this an English/Spanish post cause this guy Vlad just leaved me a comment in the Atom posts, asking for advice about how to transition using one particular opener, quite a good one i think actually, and his first language is spanish, and even when we are switching to english id like to help my spanish speaking friends so maybe im gonna write some articles in english-spanish from time to time, ok.

This is the openner;

"Hey guys, i was looking for a pet show where they can give me a credit, by any means you know any? I wanna buy a pig for my sister."

I think is a well delivered opinion cocky and funny opener, and for i can tell about Vlad´s post is working well for him, the question was what to do after talking about pigs, presents and stuff, this is a common question among novices, they tend to think that transition because of te asception of the word should be slow and pasive, but not necesarily, there is two main stream ways to go:

1-Link the conversetion from a word, but even when that word was in the previous sentence, you are adding a totally diferent subject, let´s say you are talking about the pig you wanna give your sister, then you throw a little comment/neg "Yeah, i wanna give her a pig cause she wants a dog, but she is kinda spoiled, like im sure you were when you were little" so you start from there talking about her childhood and start building rapport.

2-Just brind any other subject out of the blue, had you ever met one of those guys that speaks about this Jim Carry movie he just saw and suddenly he comes with something like the way the sheeps poop, and later on about Hawaiian volcanos? well... I do, i know a looot of this people, so just pretend to be one of them, but don´t exagerate, just drop your next subjec out of the blue, actually transition is one of the simplest parts of the games, just don´t loose any sleep cause of this.

This of course applies for any opener.
